Andre T. Heinz, Board member
Mr. Heinz (American) is co-founder and investment director of Sustainable Technologies Fund. Mr. Heinz has a long history within the field of sustainable development. He began by working for William McDonough Architects on green design, and was a researcher on "Natural Capitalism" under Paul Hawken. He also co-founded and served as Director of International Affairs of the US office of The Natural Step.
Mr. Heinz currently serves as Chairman of the board of REAC Fuel AB. He is also a Director of The H. John Heinz III Center
for Science, Economics and the Environment, The Heinz Endowments, The Heinz Family Foundation and The Heinz Awards, and former
board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden.
He holds a Master in Environmental Studies from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, where he specialized in Industrial Environmental Management and Industrial Ecology, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgetown University.
