Munich, 23th November 2011 – Norwegian-based Innotech Solar has been given the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certificate for its ITS Economy NEW solar modules, a further proof of the high quality of this module series.
The polycrystalline modules are produced in Sweden and are of certified European origin. In response to cuts in feed-in tariffs,
Innotech Solar is able to offer to British installers a European module of highest quality that will still allow for profitable
PV installations in the UK. The ITS module has the lowest carbon footprint of all crystalline modules.
“Soon after the first ITS module series was launched in the UK, we were able to deliver more than 1.5 megawatt – and the strong
demand remains unbroken. The Economy NEW module is of European origin which is an important factor in the purchasing decision.
With the extension of our product portfolio in the UK, we are in a position of satisfying the needs of many new customers,"
says Dr. Thomas Hillig, Director Sales & Marketing EMEA at Innotech Solar.
ITS Economy NEW modules are predominantly used for roof-top installations and come with a product warranty of up to ten years.
The performance warranty covers 90% of the output power for ten years, and 80% for 25 years.
Innotech Solar guarantees that each ITS Economy NEW module will achieve at least the nominal power specified (-0/+10 Wp) according
to the ITS flash list. Specially textured glass further improves yields in electricity generation particularly when the sun
is low.
