Export Logistics Coordinator

 

Successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Handling and managing direct shipments
• Daily communication with the buyer, sales team and transporters with regards to discussing shipments of outstanding orders
• Produce accurate reports of incoming stock, container and airfreight updates
• To manage and progress the collection of cargo (including clearance and arranging duties and taxes to be paid). This may include processing orders
• To manage the collection and distribution of important documentation relating to freight in transit (i.e. delivery notes, invoices, packing list etc.)
• To regularly check freight charges and exchange rates
• To manage and keep the ERP system in good order
• To regularly communicate with shippers, hauliers and clients by letter, phone, fax and email
• Additional tasks in customer service projects

 

Qualification:

• Experience in a shipping department or working within a wholesaler's export dept
• Knowledge of freight export procedures, schedules and agents
• Experience and sound knowledge of export documentation and processes
• First experience in ERP-systems
• Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• English and German are a must, additional foreign languages (Spanish, Italian, French) are a big plus
• Pro-active and dynamic behavior
• Confident, polite, and smart
• Interest in renewable energies
• Team player
• Customer oriented attitude
• Relevant work experience: 2+ to 5 years (experienced but non Manager)
