Senior Accountant

 

Main activities

• Creation of end-of-period closing and annual financial statements, based on IFRS
• Control over the books of the project companies abroad and adjustment / coordination with their accounts
• Close collaboration with accountants of project companies
• Reconciliation of account, clarification of differences and confirmation of balances cash-flow overview
• Reporting to mother company in Norway
• Handling of audits
• Liquidity planning, budget
• Money transfers
• VAT clearing
• Tax declaration
• Administrative work

 

Main responsibility

• Daily bookkeeping and end-of-period works
• Internal counterpart for all topics around the balance sheet and tax
• Counterpart for auditors and tax advisor
• Implementation of accounting system
• Set up and optimize workflows within the finance area

 

Requirements

• Education in finance and accounting (e.g. KV or Commercial School, Certificate in Finance or Accounting)
• Several years experience in accounting, financial statements
• IFRS knowledge
• Languages: German and English (French is an advantage)
• Personal skills: team player, diligence, analytic, committed, drive & high integrity
