Technology Manager

 

Duties and responsibilities associated with the position include:

• Manage and develop the R&D team in Oslo
• Ensure safe and environmentally sound practices are conducted in the Oslo laboratory
• Process development, optimization, and implementation, including equipment specification
• Project management encompassing both internal and external team members
• Technology analysis

 

The position is ideal for a seasoned technology expert with prior leadership experience. Ideal candidates will thrive in the environment of a rapidly expanding company and will be pro-active problem solvers with project and program leadership capabilities.

 

The successful candidates will possess the following combination of education and experience:

• An advanced degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline, PhD preferred
• Min. 5 years professional experience with at least 2 years spent managing highly-skilled teams
• Proven project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives working with cross-functional and culturally diverse teams in an industrial environment
• Experience in process development and implementation
• Fluent in English and preferably in other major languages.
• Previous experience working in the PV industry is desirable.
